Our Vehicles
Intimate Places operates a fleet of vehicles to include trucks which are used to move our luxury mobile camps from location to location, 4 x 4 pick-ups which are used for resupplies and Safari vehicles which are used by our “fly-in” guests as well as guests who book itineraries which use our properties exclusively. Our fleet of safari vehicles include:
‘Open’ Game Viewing Vehicles
These vehicles are used primarily in the Serengeti National Park and, as the name implies, are designed with open cabins which are intended to get our guests as close as possible to nature and wildlife for which they come to Tanzania to enjoy.
‘Panoramic’ Game Viewing Vehicles
These vehicles are used primarily in the Serengeti National Park and serve to take our guests on game drives to view the great Wildebeest migration among others. Their canvas windows can be rolled up so that our guests enjoy uninterrupted views of the nature and wildlife around them.
Each vehicle is equipped with a fridge / freezer which serves ice cold drinks during hot sunny days as well as all-important electrical outlets to enable cameras and phones to be charged on long game drives.

What our camp guests say
We stayed at the Intimate Camp in October after a last minute change from our tour operator, but we were so lucky to do so. The camp is in a beautiful location with stunning views, surrounded by the wildlife we had come to see.
We had an amazing time! everything was perfect!! Our two teenagers absolutely loved the place. Beautiful and cozy clean rooms. The staff was super kind and warm. The food was excellent. Can’t wait to come back
